OSU earns STARS Silver rating for sustainability

In recognition of its sustainability achievements, Oklahoma State University has recently earned a STARS Silver Rating from the Association for the Advancement of Sustainability in Higher Education (AASHE).

Established by AASHE, STARS (Sustainability Tracking, Assessment and Rating System)  is a self-assessment tool used to measure sustainability progress. With more than 650 participants, AASHE’s STARS program is the most widely recognized framework for publicly reporting comprehensive information related to a college or university’s sustainability performance.
